In her own words…

“My most impactful contributions have been in the projects I’ve developed for my students, the technology I’ve incorporated into my assignments and allowing students to have a choice in how they learn. My students love projects where they are actually doing something instead of sitting and completing worksheets. They love getting to put their knowledge to use instead of just seeing it on paper.”

In the words of others …

“Haylee is constantly hungry to learn more, do more, create more, and then learn some more again. She seeks innovative ways to reach all kids in a differentiated classroom. Her strong organizational skills allow her to successfully orchestrate 30 different learning pathways for 30 different children in each of her classrooms.” --
Jill Wright, Cornerstone Academy Director

“There are so many problems in this world, and yet Mrs. Carroll lives to inspire her students and show them that these problems can be fixed. She reminds me of the good in humanity, of the people who actually care about the lives they touch, and remember them when they are gone.”
 – Blake Keeling, Trinity University Class of 2015 (former student)
