In her own
words…
“Teaching
and serving on a middle school campus is the greatest career choice in the
world. I wake up each day knowing that I have the opportunity that day to be a
student’s hero, a student’s pseudo-“mom,” a student’s ally on a hard day. When
entering the career of education, I had a goal to change the world. That goal
has morphed into a dream now of just changing the world for my students.”
In the words
of others…
“Mrs.
Hauver was born a teacher . . . Her love for knowledge is contagious, not only
for her students, but for her colleagues. She works endless hours researching
for that certain lesson, reading passage, diagram, or foldable that will help
her students grasp the meaning of the subject and expand their knowledge . . .
Lauren comes early and stays late to work with all of her students in tutorial
sessions.”
–Scott
McKie,
Spring
Branch Middle School Lead Science Teacher
“Positive,
collaborative, student-centered, professional and energetic are adjectives that
describe Lauren. Although this is Lauren’s first year at Spring Branch Middle,
she has tremendously impacted the culture and climate of our campus.”
–Bryan Williams, Spring
Branch Middle School Principal
